The Story
About Le Manoir de Fresney
Le Manoir de Fresney is a fully restored 12th-century French manor on a quiet country estate in Normandy. Founded in 1144 with documented ties to the Abbey of La Noë, it has stood through the Battle of Poitiers, the Hundred Years' War, and the French Revolution. Today the property welcomes families and small groups for unhurried weeks in the French countryside.
The main house pairs original stone fireplaces and beamed ceilings with full modern comforts: a library and game room, a formal dining room with a small bar, a chef's kitchen with a separate prep kitchen, a sunlit breakfast room, a tower room, and an office. Two well-placed powder rooms, a mud room (lovingly known as the "duck room"), and the Blue and Green bedroom suites round out the main house.
The guest house adds three more en-suite bedrooms (Blue, Yellow, and Green) plus an entrance with a trundle bed for additional guests. Outside: a heated pool with a swim jet, a pool house with a shower, an outdoor kitchen, and gardens that drift into open countryside.
